De Politiedienst van Aruba was een onderdienst van de Procureur Generaal van de Kolonie Curacao. Alle correspondentie verliep via de Gezaghebber die als hoofd van de Politie fungeerde. Vele stukken over de politie vallen ook onder de Rechterlijke macht. Betvat stukken over de conditie van huur of rechtsverordeningen der dienstboden, arbeiders en werklieden.
