Zie ook: Aruba : zoals het was, zoals het werd (1953). De in 1846 gebouwde Protestantse Kerk te Oranjestad. Op dezelfde plaats stond het huis, waarin de evangelist Klaas van Eekhout zijn prediking in 1823 begon. De toren dateert uit 1867. Let op het plaveisel van de Wilhelminastraat: in 1929 kreeg de Wilhelminastraat een modern wegdek.
