Zie ook: Aruba : zoals het was, zoals het werd (1953). Aruba, zoals het was: barkjes en schoeners liggen in de Paardenbaai, de haven van Oranjestad. Uit Venezuela, Colombia, Santo Domingo, Suriname enz. worden op deze scheepjes vruchten en groenten aangevoerd. Op de achtergrond ziet men enkele landskantoren: links het ontvangerskantoor, rechts het bestuurskantoor (voormalige passanggrahan). Op de achtergrond is de toren van de protestantse kerk in aanbouw (1949).
