Zie ook: Aruba : zoals het was, zoals het werd (1953). Bestuurskantoor te Oranjestad. In het begin van de tweede wereldoorlog werd dit gebouw opgetrokken als officiersverblijf. Van 1945 tot 1952 diende het als pasanggrahan of gouvernementslogeergebouw. Daarna werden het gezaghebberskantoor (rechts boven) en de eilandelijke bestuursdiensten hier ondergebracht.
