Caption: Daily morning meetings are an important phase in the operation of Aruba Refinery. Just as the Operators and their subordinates meet in the Control House of the. various units, usually at nine o'clock, so do the various division heads foregather in the office of the General Manager in the glass brick-windowed, quarter of a million dollar air-conditioned, Executive building. Seated clockwise, starting from the extreme left, are: J.J. Howard, head of the Marine Department, J.S. Harrison, in charge of the Operating Dept., J.J. Horigan, Assistant General Manager, F.S. Campbell (Acting General Manager), J.J. Abadie, acting head of Colony Service, Dr. R.C. Carrell, head of the Medical Department, T.C. Brown, Office Manager, B. Teagle, Industrial Relations Manager and head of the Personnel Department, W.R.C. Miller, Superintendent of the Mechanical Division, F.W. Switzer, head of the Technical Service Department and (in the foreground) J.D. Lykins, Assistant to F.W. Switzer.
