TECHNICAL ~ PROCESS ENGINEERING RE-ORCANIZED INTO FOUR SECTIONS
Effective January 15, the Process Engineering Division in the Technical Department will be re~organized into four sections: Alkylation, Cat Cracking, Crude Distillation, and HDS.
The HDS Section assigned to the HDS Starteup Task Force will continue to function as they have inthe past. The Alkylation Section will © cover isomerization, virgin naphtha fractionation, acid manufacture, utilities in addition to alkylation, The Cat Cracking Section will also be responsible for cat light ends recovery, gas scrubbing and compression, analyzer applications and oil movements. The Crude Distillation Section will also cover vis breaking, treating, Edeleanu extraction, the existing vacuum pipestill and naphthenic acid
recovery.
